Faith Based Drug Treatment Centers

Our Christian residential or Inpatient 12 step program provides a safe environment with a strong therapeutic support community for those who are severely struggling with addiction. Inpatient 12 step Christian program clients are able to focus on their recovery by having complete physical separation from their drug of choice, unhealthy relationships, or uncontrolled stressors that lead to persistent abuse of drugs or alcohol.

Our Faith Based Drug Treatment Centers firmly believes the only way to overcome the recurring pain, trauma, and underlying issues that lead to substance abuse is to involve the teachings of God (Christian Drug Rehab Treatment) into our client’s daily life. The only way this is possible is to give each client something that is exclusively offered only through God’s help. This gift ensures an addict’s ability to finally love and forgive themselves wholeheartedly.

This does not mean our recovery center solely focuses on spiritual matters, rather it means we revere the healing powers of God as our best defense against the disease of addiction. We use the most up to date evidence-based research in combination with our christian drug rehab program. By doing this, our faith based drug treatment centers have created a revolutionary style of providing substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment unparalleled to what is currently being offered elsewhere. This is why we are confident in offering a lifetime guarantee to all of our clients.

We believe our faith based drug treatment centers should incorporate a christian drug rehab aspect in to your experience as a paramount way to finally heal once and for all. There is nothing more important that you could do in fact! The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous states that alcoholism (addiction) is beyond human aid. This means that despite our best efforts we have resulted in relapse countless times. Why do you suppose that is?

If this statement is true, then we can understand why there are so many that fail at their various treatment episodes and end up back on the streets actively using again. You can not just address the issue(s) of sobriety and neglect recovery altogether. Sobriety is the art of not using drugs or alcohol and recovery is being brave enough to resolve why you used/are still using to cope with your problems and then learning how to face your fears without using a substance to feel better.

Another great quote from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous (which specifically uses the word “God” 7 out of the 12 steps) says…

“We are granted a daily reprieve contingent upon the maintenance of our spiritual condition.”

What exactly does that mean? Let’s break it down to simpler terms here.

We are granted = We are given

Daily Reprieve = Our (self inflicted) punishments are cancelled or postponed on a daily basis

Contingent upon = Can exist only if

Maintenance = Continual ongoing process

Spiritual = Relating to or affecting the soul or religious belief(s)

Condition = the circumstances affecting the way in which people live or work, especially in regard to their safety or well-being

So when you put it all together in one lovely puzzle piece we can now easily decipher exactly what this promise means and how to do it!

When we work an honest program of recovery there is only one way to do it but through doing it honestly this is your reward!

“We are given a daily chance to have all of our punishments and/or consequences either postponed or removed entirely; but this can only happen if you will continually (on a permanent basis) work on addressing the circumstances in your life that relate to and/or affect your soul, safety, well-being and religious beliefs.”

Hopefully this rewrite truly helps you grasp the importance of allowing a higher power into your life as you can not do it on your own. Remember that even if you feel hopeless, you are never helpless! So even if you are currently struggling with allowing a “God of your understanding” into your life as a higher power to help lead and guide you. You still have friends and family that are willing to step in for God and to help you every step of the way! You are never alone if you do not want to be!

For whatever reasons, many addicts have turned their backs to God and feel unworthy, inadequate or have deep rooted resentments when it comes to this topic. There is nothing wrong with feeling these pressures, etc. What our faith based drug treatment centers propose is that a major part of your recovery process is to address why you have such a strong disconnect with God and to allow yourself the chance to get reacquainted with Him in a non-confrontational and safe manner.

Our Faith-Based Drug Treatment Centers do our best to help each and every client explore their own personal relationship with God. This can sometimes be very daunting indeed. We never make this exploration a mandatory part of our treatment curriculum as you can not force God upon anyone at anytime. Rather, we have learned the importance of letting go and letting God do His magic in his own way. We are mere instruments in His hands to aid you in both your sobriety and recovery.

Another really neat quote (or really should be labeled as a prayer) to dissect is the Serenity Prayer.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

Here is how our faith based drug treatment centers views how this should be looked at…

God (HIGHER POWER), grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change (THEM or IT), the courage to change the things I can (ME or MY SIDE OF THE STREET), and the wisdom to know the difference.”

Our faith based drug treatment centers recognizes that we simply are not a one-size-fits-all facility. Even though we are definitely not a run of the mill Christian drug rehab, we definitely provide intimate treatment in a unique and special way. If you want to further explore and understand your relationship with God and tap into his healing power, then you have come to the right place.

We are not just 100% focused on providing the best faith based drug treatment centers that you can have. In fact, we are not only state and city licensed, but also nationally accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO). This particular type of certification holds all of our facilities tot eh same standards that all hospitals have to follow.

What this means for you is that you can attend a mental health and substance abuse treatment center and rest assured in knowing that you are going to get some of the most amazing world class 5 star service you could imagine. So even though we are similarly licensed like a hospital we are nothing like a hospital at the same time.

Some of the major differences are the food for example. We have 5 star chefs that prepare nutritious and delicious food three times per day at both of our residential locations. On top of our tasty food, our clients have access to snack throughout the day on a variety of equally yummy and healthy finger foods.

A major difference our Joint Commission accredited facilities have from other Christian drug rehabs and hospitals is the physical location and type of residential inpatient setting. Our faith based drug treatment centers are nothing like a hospital as far as feeling clinical and empty with massive amounts of bright white walls and lights.

Our residential treatment centers are actual cabins full of rustic and relaxing furniture set it place with nature and mountains. In fact, one of our cabins is located right next to a ski resort while the other is nestled in close by to the Wasatch Mountain range.

Our outpatient 12 step program is located close to one of our inpatient cabins. All of our sober living / Recovery Residence locations are actual homes and not just an apartment where you feel like you are being crammed in like sardines.

This is a major difference from a hospital in that we have a very small census that never gets larger that 16 for residential treatment care and 10 for outpatient level of care. When you compare this to a hospital there is no comparison as one floor alone in a hospital could have as much as 50 people!

We provide amazing therapists and medical staff that have years of experience put together. They are all EMDR certified and have a master level degree in counseling at a bare minimum. We also provide all of our clients access to a psychiatrist, doctor and nurse as needed. We have full time medical staff on board to ensure medical is prioritized just as important as clinical is.

We do this because we understand that sometimes our problems in life really can just be medically related. No matter how much you talk, the therapy from individual and group session just will not be able to help an over or under-active thyroid gland which may be the source of your depression. We here at our Christian rehab are very aware of situations like that and are not too prideful to admit when a client needs as little or a lot of treatment as possible.

However, when a client does need our help, we have many various resources and tools at their disposal to make sure that they are able to have the life that they have always dreamed of. And as previously mentioned, our Christian Drug Rehab Centers provides so much more than just what you think our faith based drug treatment centers has to offer!

Here is a small list of some of the more finer points of what you can expect when attending Christian Recovery Wellness Center:

Program Highlights

Alcohol & Christian Drug Detox: This level is usually the first type of care you will receive before implementing any kind of therapeutic treatment. It is important to first establish a safe and reliable baseline, where you are able to be fully present and cognizant of your surroundings, your feelings and your life in general. Plus it does not help to be feeling very crumby and trying to deal with multiple skeletons in your closet at eh same time.

It would appear that it is getting harder and harder to detox with the help from hospitals anymore as they seem to only allow those in need of either alcohol or benzodiazepine detoxification. Apparently in their opinion, any addict suffering from heroin withdrawals or cocaine abuse do not need detox help. We understand that you have a far better chance at a lasting recovery if you can go through a full detox before treatment. So as it stands, we are able to get all of our clients into detox if it would benefit them regardless of what type of drug they use.

Also because we can not afford the hospital rates, we usually have pre negotiated amounts with private boutique detox centers that are not set up like a hospital which means you do not have to be put in rooms with other roommates that are having psychotic episodes and you do not have to eat nasty hospital food. Lastly, you are able to keep your dignity intact and do not have to get dressed in to a gown that shows off your bum crack whenever you turn around. So long as your clothes are appropriate that is all you have to wear!

While at detox you can expect to stay anywhere from 3 to 10 days. Keep in mind it is very rare for someone to stay in detox for 10 days. That is usually reserved for someone who has need to detoxify from Methadone.

Christian Residential / Inpatient Drug Rehab: This type of treatment otherwise known as RTC is the next level of care most go through after fully detoxing from their withdrawals and severe drug abuse. It usually lasts anywhere from 30 to 90 days depending on where you are at in need of help. Plan on spending around 45 to 60 days to get the full benefits from our program to actually stick and click!

While in RTC, you will do some major soul searching. But do not be afraid as we can help you every step of the way. We will not let you fail so long as you do not ask us to do the work for you! While in our care here, you will have access to 24/7 monitoring alongside 3-5 UA’s per week to ensure accountability and program safety for yourself and others.

(PHP) Day Treatment: This level of care is known professionally as (PHP) which stands for Partial Hospitalization. This means that the client can spend upwards of 20 or more hours per week (according to 2.5 ASAM criterion) with us on an outpatient basis. In a normal schedule you can expect to attend Monday through Friday at about 4 hours per day. Although we do offer 8 hours per day at 7 days per week if needs be as we take great pride in being able to meet an individual’s personal needs.

The purpose of day treatment is to help ensure a full stabilization during transition from a higher level of care such as (RTC) or more popularly known as Christian residential or inpatient drug rehab. During this time you will continue to receive urine analysis tests on a random schedule. You will also have access to both individual and group therapeutic sessions. You will also learn basic survival/daily living skills to help you learn to cope/deal with life on life’s terms without completely falling apart.

Some of the more finer points of our Day Treatment program involve helping you find a job. Learning how to cook and clean up after yourself. Maintaining your new found coping skills and exercising all of your new tools and skills on a “real-world” basis but having the safety and guidance of a full medical and clinical team standing behind you every step of the way.

(IOP) Intensive Outpatient 12 Step Program: This is a step down from Day Treatment but is still very similar, however you are now only required to attend 9-12 hours per week (according to 2.I ASAM criterion). The only main difference is the hours between our day treatment and intensive outpatient 12 step program.

You are still required to receive random UA (urine analysis tests) and to participate in both group and individual treatment sessions. You will not have as intensive of daily life skills as frequent though. By now you should be gainfully employed and start to understand what it means to be a healthy contributor to society.

(GOP) General Outpatient Rehab: When it comes to (GOP) or more commonly known as General Outpatient Rehab, you are only expected to attend 1 to 6 hours per week at a 1.5 ASAM criterion level of care. In GOP you should have the majority of all your skills and tools acquired by now. You should have a good grasp of how to live on a daily basis without having to use any drugs or alcohol.

This does not mean that you are fully healed though. In fact, quite the contrary as it can take a lifetime to learn all the wonderful tactics of recovery. You will meet with your primary therapist on an individual basis once a week for the most part. You might also participate in a gender specific or action based recovery group once per week to help offer suggestion and guidance to others that are not as far as along as you are.

State-Of-The-Art Technologies

Our Christian Recovery Center’s outpatient 12 step program implements the teachings of God in a non-threatening way while combining it with a strict adherence to the most current evidence-based treatment methods. Some of the more common treatment methods we utilize are as follows:

Our Christian treatment is truly something that you have to see! It is something of an amazing caliber when it comes to healing. While in a therapeutic session you are in charge. You get to fidget with toys to mess around with while you are talking about difficult subjects. You really get to create the ultimate room of your liking where you are 100 percent in charge and the therapist is along for the ride.

By doing this, we have the highest and best possible statistical outcomes. Another great resource we utilize comes from the natural habitat through outdoor activities and experiential therapies such as: music, drawing, journaling, meditation, mindfulness, etc.

We really do have it all in our own backyard. Do not delay getting the right help that you both need and deserve any longer. Our Christian Alcohol Rehab Center’s outpatient 12 step program will always prioritize your personal recovery needs above our own agenda as we want nothing more than to see you heal for a lifetime.

On a more personal note, we actually do not want to see you ever again (unless it is at one of our many fun alumni gatherings) as we hope that you are not going to have to ever cash in on your hard earned “Lifetime Guarantee” that we offer. That’s right, we actually put our money where our mouth is and offer a lifetime guarantee to help ensure that you get to live the life you have always dreamed of, but thought that was never possible!

As you can see we truly do provide so much more than you ever thought. Let us help you close the last few chapters in your book of life where you were always at risk of overdosing or even worse death!
