Our Christian residential or Inpatient 12 step program provides a safe environment with a strong therapeutic support community for those who are severely struggling with addiction. Inpatient 12 step Christian program clients are able to focus on their recovery by having complete physical separation from their drug of choice, unhealthy relationships, or uncontrolled stressors that lead to persistent abuse of drugs or alcohol.
Our Faith Based Drug Treatment Centers firmly believes the only way to overcome the recurring pain, trauma, and underlying issues that lead to substance abuse is to involve the teachings of God (Christian Drug Rehab Treatment) into our client’s daily life. The only way this is possible is to give each client something that is exclusively offered only through God’s help. This gift ensures an addict’s ability to finally love and forgive themselves wholeheartedly.
This does not mean our recovery center solely focuses on spiritual matters, rather it means we revere the healing powers of God as our best defense against the disease of addiction. We use the most up to date evidence-based research in combination with our christian drug rehab program. By doing this, our faith based drug treatment centers have created a revolutionary style of providing substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment unparalleled to what is currently being offered elsewhere. This is why we are confident in offering a lifetime guarantee to all of our clients.
We believe our faith based drug treatment centers should incorporate a christian drug rehab aspect in to your experience as a paramount way to finally heal once and for all. There is nothing more important that you could do in fact! The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous states that alcoholism (addiction) is beyond human aid. This means that despite our best efforts we have resulted in relapse countless times. Why do you suppose that is?
If this statement is true, then we can understand why there are so many that fail at their various treatment episodes and end up back on the streets actively using again. You can not just address the issue(s) of sobriety and neglect recovery altogether. Sobriety is the art of not using drugs or alcohol and recovery is being brave enough to resolve why you used/are still using to cope with your problems and then learning how to face your fears without using a substance to feel better.
Another great quote from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous (which specifically uses the word “God” 7 out of the 12 steps) says…
“We are granted a daily reprieve contingent upon the maintenance of our spiritual condition.”
What exactly does that mean? Let’s break it down to simpler terms here.
We are granted = We are given
Daily Reprieve = Our (self inflicted) punishments are cancelled or postponed on a daily basis
Contingent upon = Can exist only if
Maintenance = Continual ongoing process
Spiritual = Relating to or affecting the soul or religious belief(s)
Condition = the circumstances affecting the way in which people live or work, especially in regard to their safety or well-being
So when you put it all together in one lovely puzzle piece we can now easily decipher exactly what this promise means and how to do it!
When we work an honest program of recovery there is only one way to do it but through doing it honestly this is your reward!
“We are given a daily chance to have all of our punishments and/or consequences either postponed or removed entirely; but this can only happen if you will continually (on a permanent basis) work on addressing the circumstances in your life that relate to and/or affect your soul, safety, well-being and religious beliefs.”
Hopefully this rewrite truly helps you grasp the importance of allowing a higher power into your life as you can not do it on your own. Remember that even if you feel hopeless, you are never helpless! So even if you are currently struggling with allowing a “God of your understanding” into your life as a higher power to help lead and guide you. You still have friends and family that are willing to step in for God and to help you every step of the way! You are never alone if you do not want to be!
For whatever reasons, many addicts have turned their backs to God and feel unworthy, inadequate or have deep rooted resentments when it comes to this topic. There is nothing wrong with feeling these pressures, etc. What our faith based drug treatment centers propose is that a major part of your recovery process is to address why you have such a strong disconnect with God and to allow yourself the chance to get reacquainted with Him in a non-confrontational and safe manner.
Our Faith-Based Drug Treatment Centers do our best to help each and every client explore their own personal relationship with God. This can sometimes be very daunting indeed. We never make this exploration a mandatory part of our treatment curriculum as you can not force God upon anyone at anytime. Rather, we have learned the importance of letting go and letting God do His magic in his own way. We are mere instruments in His hands to aid you in both your sobriety and recovery.
Another really neat quote (or really should be labeled as a prayer) to dissect is the Serenity Prayer.
“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”
Here is how our faith based drug treatment centers views how this should be looked at…
God (HIGHER POWER), grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change (THEM or IT), the courage to change the things I can (ME or MY SIDE OF THE STREET), and the wisdom to know the difference.”
Our faith based drug treatment centers recognizes that we simply are not a one-size-fits-all facility. Even though we are definitely not a run of the mill Christian drug rehab, we definitely provide intimate treatment in a unique and special way. If you want to further explore and understand your relationship with God and tap into his healing power, then you have come to the right place.
