At Zion Recovery Center, every client is unique in their stage with addiction (DiClemente’s Cycle of Change) and therefore the client’s treatment must be catered to match their specific and individual needs. It is extremely important to place the client in the appropriate level of care based on a clinical interview from a licensed qualified professional that specializes in Utah substance abuse treatment.
The reason you want to make sure the assessment process is conducted this way is because unfortunately when you are dealing with the disease of addiction, it is a matter of life or death. If you or your loved one is placed in the wrong level of care or with the wrong type of treatment facility, you might not get another chance to correct the mistake.
The screening process mentioned above is always performed by a qualified staff member at Zion Recovery Center. Furthermore each clinical interview is supervised and the final decision approved by our Clinical Program Director who apart from his credentials, has 25 years of first-hand personal experience with addiction and substance abuse.
There are many different levels of treatment care when it comes to substance abuse rehab. The first program you are going to want to enter into (based on the severity of your drug addiction or alcoholism) is detoxification. Attending a quality drug or alcohol detox is paramount in order to start on the right foot.
The next level of care after undergoing your drug detox to further address your withdrawal symptoms (and what have you) is to attend a residential drug rehab center in Utah. This will continue to provide you the care and rehabilitation you will need in addition to creating an actual physical space between them and their drug(s) of choice. This is one of the hardest parts to an addiction recovery program in that you are leaving your comfort zone as well as friends and family members for an extended period of time (30-60-90 days).
The next level of care after your stay at our residential drug rehab is outpatient rehab at either an intensive or general program. This is a way to maintain accountability through continued random urine analysis as well as ongoing coping skills and opportunity to process issues. This is especially important for the first few months since your recovery is very fragile!
The last level of care consists of both aftercare and being a regular part of the alumni association. This is important to not only stay clean and sober for yourself, but also to your fellow group members. This is your chance to pay it forward as you get to now walk a mile in to their shoes and help provide faith and hope for those that currently have none.
Zion Recovery Center provides both residential inpatient and outpatient services to ensure you or your loved one is getting the correct treatment at the appropriate level of care.
