“Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.” – J.K. Rowling
According to a study in 2010, only 9% of people needing treatment for substance abuse are receiving it – leaving 20.5 million people still in need. Zion Recovery Center helps people in Farmington, UT to battle their drug and alcohol addictions, assisting them in positively changing their lives for good.
When you start your rehabilitation journey with us, you can feel confident that you’re in some of the best, most-experienced hands in the substance abuse addiction recovery industry. We treat every client according to their individual needs – admitting only 5 patients at a time to our facility to ensure that everyone receives personalized care. We recognize that we’re treating unique human beings, all of whom have had different experiences and struggles, so we don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to addiction recovery, though we do have certain practices that we know work.
Addressing the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual elements of substance abuse recovery helps build a foundation for change that can last. We truly care about the people we work with, which is why we make lifelong recovery our main focus – even offering a lifetime guarantee with our treatment plans. If anyone ever relapses after finishing our program, we provide them with another stay in our facility free of charge – that’s how sure we are that our methods really work.
One case study we would like to share about is as follows. There was a client who we shall call David (to protect his anonymity) who was heavily involved with the criminal justice system within the Utah County regional area. He had also been in and out of various hospitals in Utah and for the majority of his life was was on various medications due to a Bipolar Type I diagnosis.
The associates at Drug Court believed he was “not amenable to treatment” and should just finish up any current or extended time in prison. His current case manager knew he was eligible for admittance at Zion Recovery Center and felt there was something different about us. She fought for David’s cause with the judge who listened to the caseworker’s advice and allowed him to enter into our program.
David was able to successfully complete a 90-day program which he has never done his entire life before. He was able to finally ween off of all his prescribed medications (per his request as Zion Recovery Center would never force a client to if they did not want to) and learned to cope with life’s problems on life’s terms. The only rule that we enforce is that no narcotic prescriptions or scheduled drugs are allowed into the facility at any time.
After graduating our residential inpatient rehab in Utah, David was no longer as angry or impulsive as before and really flourished in life. He holds a gainful full-time jobbed is a healthy contributor to society once again. He has repaired the majority of his relationships with his immediate family and is now very careful as to who he makes new friends with. As well as meeting up with past/current friends. Sure he is still rough around the edges, but who isn’t? We will always have things to work on, but we fill this is an amazing success story to share.
